Defence Secretary Michael Fallon appeared on Newsnight last night to discuss the Tories’ manifesto. Just as John Humphrys pushed Chancellor Philip Hammond into a meltdown on Radio 4 earlier this week, Evan Davis must have been eating his spinach, because he calmly and persistently exposed Fallon’s absolute vacuousness and the Tories’ laziness, incompetence and hypocrisy in putting out a shoddy and completely uncosted manifesto.

Just a couple of days after creating a barrage of fake news to attack a fictitious ‘black hole‘ in Labour’s fully-costed and financially-literate manifesto.
